We, both collectively and individually, have decades of experience in the Thoroughbred industry. We’ve attended Thoroughbred auctions throughout the country. We’ve bought horses for as little as $25,000 that have gone on to become earners of black type. We’ve acquired broodmares for as little as $24,000 that have gone on to produce stakes winners. We’ve acquired horses for as little as $35,000 that have gone on to win $500,000 stakes races. We’ve assembled a band of broodmares numbering no more than 9 head and have consistently been ranked as a top-10 breeder in New York ranking in front of commercial breeders with orders of magnitude more mares.
Numbers don’t lie. We accomplish these achievements by exercising unwavering discipline in our acquisition and breeding decisions. We know there is value to be found in every circumstance. The key is to use analytics to expose the value and then use cold objectivity in executing the plan. Anyone who allows emotions to affect decision-making has already lost. Our objective approach is what allows us to avoid costly pitfalls so common to other buyers and advisory teams. The proof is in the results.
